I feel like sometimes the main dishes hog all the glory, well side dishes are dishes too people!! So today we are only talking about a side dish. A very delicious side dish. One that is a favorite of mine and a soon to be favorite of yours. You’re welcome. Oh what’s that? You didn’t say thank you? Trust me friend, you will. These honey glazed roasted carrots are the jam! Let’s get to roasting.
A fresh take on a classic Thanksgiving dish, these twice baked sweet potatoes are mixed with brown sugar, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg and then topped with perfectly browned marshmallows.
Everyone always has a favorite Thanksgiving dish and mine, hands down, without a doubt, is my mom’s green bean casserole. Now I could conjure up some crazy story of how my great, great, great grandma was given this recipe carved in stone from an angel from the heavens, because its that good- but I have no clue. Heck it could have come from the back of a stove top stuffing box for all I know but it doesn’t matter to me. Its all I’ve known every Thanksgiving and I anticipate its greatness every year. And because I love it so much I wanted to share it with you. Its really easy and worth the effort.
