I love decorating for Spring and Easter. Okay, who am I kidding – I love decorating for EVERY season haha! But, I especially love Easter!I try and keep my decorations minimal and clean looking. So, I choosewhite, cream, burlap, with hints of a pastel blue and of course a ton of bunnies! Here is a look at my Easter bunny tablescape.
One of my goals for 2017 is was to finish my office! It has been partially completed for months but over the weekend we cleaned, organized, hung pictures, and hung shelves all to FINALLY get my office finished. Woohooo! Now I finally have a creative place to write posts, plan, and to have a little “me” time to read. I wanted to give you the official tour and share some of my tips for creating a place you will love to be in!
Hi! Guess who’s back, back again…OMT’s back, tell a friend! hah! Sorry guys, I literally don’t know where the Eminem remix just came from, but any who! Hope you love the lemon and mixed pattern trend as much as we are in my Summer Home Tour 2016!
I love Spring. I love the new, the fresh, the clean, all of it. I also enjoy the chance to decorate our house again and give it a new look. If you are in need of some Spring decor inspiration or just want to see what we have going on over at the Lyons’ house then this post is for you.
The entry way of a home serves as the welcome center not only for you and your family but also for any guests that visit. This easy monochromatic letter wall project will create a perfect welcoming feel to all who enter your home.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s! John was LITERALLY in the city of love over Valentine’s! (Would have been so romantic, if I could have gone too! haha!) But since he had to go for a training and I couldn’t go – we will be celebrating Valentine’s/my birthday this weekend!
Anyways, today’s post is short and sweet – and showcases two of my current favorites. Hint: they are both MARBLE 🙂
This year on a whim I decided to completely change my typical fall color scheme of warm tone oranges, browns, and maroons & instead channeled my inner Joanna Gaines by incorporating metal pumpkins, an old window, wood and a ton of grapevine. Oh and lots of cotton! Seriously, there could never be enough cotton. Then I finished the look off with little touches of silver throughout. Here’s a look at my 2015 Fall Home Tour!
I really wanted some shelves in my new home office. I wanted something that was different and unique to not only the space but to my style and personality. I mean what says more about who you are then the shelves in your office? So like any committed DIYer I spent days (weeks) on Pinterest trying to find the perfect shelf. After loving the idea of industrial style shelves, I went to the drawing board and sketched up what I wanted and then documented it for the world to see. I think they turned out great (but i’m biased.) The process isn’t too bad and this project can be easily tackled in a weekend. So lets get to it, here is what I did.
