When John and I moved to The Woodlands, I lost my “fitness community.” I had three close friends who all lived less than 5 minutes away from me and I worked out with each of them a few times a week. When we moved, I felt like I lost my tribe of people who helped make fitness fun for me. Slowly I fell out of a routine and overtime stopped going to the gym at all.
While I realize I can’t always rely on someone else to motivate me, I just needed to find a way to take back control of my health and find a way to enjoy working out again.
