How many times have you gotten to the gym and realize you forgot something?!? Seriously, thats my life! So, I decided to fill my gym bag with all the essentials that stay ONLY in this gym bag. This has helped me to enjoy my workout more and less “ugh where are my….” moments while I’m at the gym. So without further ad0, here’s what is in my gym bag at all times!
When John and I moved to The Woodlands, I lost my “fitness community.” I had three close friends who all lived less than 5 minutes away from me and I worked out with each of them a few times a week. When we moved, I felt like I lost my tribe of people who helped make fitness fun for me. Slowly I fell out of a routine and overtime stopped going to the gym at all.
While I realize I can’t always rely on someone else to motivate me, I just needed to find a way to take back control of my health and find a way to enjoy working out again. Here are a few things that I tried over the last year and finally feel like I am in place where I am enjoying this journey again.
