1. Urban Decay Beached Bronzer

Pretty packaging gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I literallycouldn’t keep my hands to myself (sorry, I just watched Selena Gomez and James Corden onCarpool Karokeand that song is stuck in my head now and will be for daysssss)when I saw this Urban Decay beached bronzer with palm trees on it! ahhh does it get anymore Summer time than that? I love trying new bronzers and this one did not disappoint!

2. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I usually use concealer to prime my eyes, but the girl at Ulta was good at her job and I came home with this as well! It really makes my eye shadow pop and stay on longer.It issuch a prettycolor on it’s own toothat lately I havejust been wearing the primer and atransition color in the crease.

3. Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream

I recently added this to my day and night time routine and I have to say I am LOVING it. It is supposed to nourish and hydrate your skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines (which I amALL about!)It’snot too heavy for day time and I even like the way it feels at night. I still use a moisturizing mask occasionally when I am wanting a really hydrating mask, but for an everyday moisturizer, I like it a lot!

4. Hello Beautiful Body Lotion

I still and always will love Bath and Body Works. I go in every season and buy the seasonal scents and of course get the matching soaps for the house! I really love the Hello Beautiful scent. It smells AMAZING and the packaging is really pretty too!

April Style & Beauty Favorites 2016

I love the elegant and girly feelof the midi tulle skirt’s right now!I worethis skirtto Mother’s Day Brunch last weekend. It is very comfortable and versatile. You can dress it up with a more formal top or I also like to wear it with a chambray button-up and give it a more casual feel. I got mine from Francesca’s.Unfortunately, it is not on their website anymore, but here is a similar one from Anthropologie.

Before we move on to the beauty favorites, I have to tell you about this beautiful necklace from Atakcrafts.They are all handmade by Ashley. She has a variety of colors, but I choose the white/grey for Summer and it also has marble beads throughout! (If you saw my February Favorites, you know I LOVE marble.) It is a piece that can be worn with so much!

Beauty Favorites:

This Giorgio Armani foundation is AMAZING. For years now I have heard Jaclyn Hill rave about it, but I couldn’t get past the price tag. My friend, Tara, is a Sephora VIBRouge Memberand they were running a special where you bring a friend and they get 15% off, this caught my eye right when I walked in. I love this foundation! It covers well, without feeling “cakey.” It smells good and the bottle is pretty generous. I have combination skin and it worked great for me. I recommend talking to the Sephora makeup consultant and see if this is good match for your skin type.

I can now add Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer to my list of favorite concealers.It covers very well andIhaven’t noticed any creasing under my eyes. I will say it is a thicker than my other concealers, so the first couple times I used too much and it took me awhile to blend it out.

I got a sample of the Benefit Roller Lash from Ulta during my birthday month and I was on the fence at first, but I love it now! It takes me a couple weeks to get used to a new mascara and I will definitely purchase this when I run out of the sample. My lashes look so long & full when I wear it and it doesn’t irritate my overly sensitive eyes.

I will go on record to say, THIS IS THE BEST CANDLE YOU WILL EVER OWN. No joke. My whole family uses this candle and its our go-to gift for friends & hostesses. It smells amazing and you only have to burn it for a short period of time, because it smells up the entire house. I buy these at a local boutique , but I also found them online for you here.(If you are in the Spring/The Woodlands area in TX you can buy these at Thad’s in Old Town Spring or at The Blue Finch in Magnolia.)

It has been so dreary and rainy in Houston this week. You may have seen on the news all the flooding and awfulness that has been going on. We were very blessed to be in an area that did not sustain any flood damage and we have been avoiding going into the city to steer clear of all that. With all the gloomy weather, I decided to put together a bright & cheery list of things I am currently loving: Pineapple Perfection!

Right now I am currently loving all things pineapple! It started this weekend when I picked up an adorable pineapple cookie jar and I have been spiraling ever since ( luckily almost everything is one sale!) Here’s some of my other favorite pineapple pieces.

This chambraydress has been on REPEAT lately. I wore it to Thrive Blog Conference and this weekend to a coffee date with John! It has been one of my favorites for Spring so far. It is so comfortable and feels so effortless, but when you add the necklace & earrings – it looks so put together. (which is my kind of outfit!)

February Favorites: Marble Edition

I have fallen head over heels for any and everything MARBLE. (I know I am not alone in this obsession.) When I saw this Marble Platter, I knew I had to have it to put on my dresser to hold all my favorite perfumes and most used jewelry.

My other favorite are theseKendra Scott Earrings. I have not stopped wearing themall Winter! They have a marble pattern and are just gorgeous! My go-to look to wear them with is a blue/white plaid flannel shirt. These earrings really dress it up!

This little Marble platter looks so pretty on my dresser! This may sound silly, but it has made me enjoy the last steps of getting ready so much more.

Favorites: December 2015

This style top is one of my favorites. I have it in so many colors! I love it, because it can be dressed up for work or casual and paired with jeans.

I have been obsessed with this scarf from Altar’d State.( I couldn’t find the exact one on the website, but I went ahead and linked to their other scarves.) I have worn it with EVERYTHING – from fitted tee’s to dress shirts. I think my favorite look so far was pairing it with a leather jacket.

Speaking of leather jacket, here is my all time favorite leather jacket. Mine is last season, but I linked a similar one from from express. What I like about this jacket is that the sides and the back of the arms are actually fabric, which allows you to move and not feel so constricted. ( Maybe that’s just me, but I’ve never felt comfortable in a leather jacket, until this one!) It takes the basic tee and jeans to the next level!

The Brunch So Hard t-shirt is from target. I’m sad to say, that this t-shirt never did make it to brunch. When we were taking these photos, we missed the “brunch” window, so we “lunched so hard” instead.

I don’t think a day has gone by that I haven’t worn these boots, since I got them! I looked forever for the perfect pair of nude booties and found these at Target of all places.

Another favorite for most of this year actually, are these earrings from Kendra Scott.Of course, I couldn’t find the exact pair ( probably, because I have had mine for a year) but I linked a similar pair and honestly, EVERYTHING she has on her site is gorgeous. So really, this picture applies to any pair of Kendra Scott statement earrings, because they go with any and every outfit.

My sweet friend, Kelsey, surprised me with this vest.I ABSOLUTELY love it. Not only is it comfortable, but it completely transforms an otherwise bland outfit. She gave this to me as a congratulations gift for taking the first steps on launching the blog and really I owe her ( and this vest) a huge Thank You! It motivated me to get my butt in gear and to start taking the blog to the next level.

I had to throw these in here, because John and I use our Swell bottlesALL. THE. TIME.They keep your drink cold for 24 hours! & They come in cute colors. Funny story, I took the sparkly gold bottle to spin class and the instructor literally stopped what she was doing and came over, because she thought I had a champagne bottle in class! LOL

John and I hoard (I mean collect) coffee mugs and when we found this cute Christmas Mug we couldn’t pass it up.
