DIY Valentine’s Wreath
Goodness, I can’t believe it is already February! I don’t have a clue where January went, but I’m not complaining, because for one it’s my birthday month! (yay!) but, I also get to share this adorable, DIY Valentine’s wreath with you! It is so easy to make and is so much fun!
Here’s what you will need to make this awesome wreath:
- Styrofoam wreath -I got mine from Michael’s Art Supply for around $7
- Tulle ribbon – I choose Pink, White, and Red
- Styrofoam glitter hearts – These were on sale at Michael’s Art Supply for less than $4 for the whole pack!
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
First cut a bunch of strips of each color of ribbon. It honestly don’ have to be precise, I eye-balled it. You can always go back and trim them if needed.
Tie two strips of the same color ribbon into a knot on the wreath. (Make sure the knot is on the outside of the wreath, so that the tails of the ribbon are facing outward.) I recommend two strips of ribbon, because the ribbon is very sheer and using two strips of ribbon will make the color stand out better.
Then you just repeat that step over and over, alternating colors until you are done. I used a red, white, and pink color combo. You could also just use one color or add in more colors – it’s up to you!
Time to hot glue on the glitter hearts <3
