30 Before 30
Hi Everyone! Well, my birthday month is officially over. (It was nice to have an extra day this year!) Yes, I milk my birthday for the entire month LOL. I literally just threw away my flowers and balloons yesterday. But in all fairness, I do the same for John! We just LOVE birthdays. This February I turned 27! Officially in the last 3 years of my twenties. I really want to make the most of these nextthree years and tackle (at least) 30 things I have always wanted to do, but have never made the time. Here’s my 30 before 30 bucket list!
30 Before 30
My plan is to complete all 30 and then write a blog post for each one. (These are not in any certain order)
- Take a calligraphy class
- Try paddle-boarding
- Hot air balloon over Napa Valley ( I am so terrified of heights, I asked John would it count if it was still tethered to the ground haha!)
- Go to Europe
- Go on a girls weekend road-trip
- Watch the “classics”
- Take a class to learn how to make sushi
- Host a 3 course dinner party
- Stay at a Bed & Breakfast in Fredericksburg, TX
- Take a photography class
- Take a 1-2 day trip somewhere by myself
- Join a book club
- Have coffee with a stranger
- See the ball drop on NYE in Times Square
- Learn to ride a horse
- Volunteer
- Go on a Saturday morning bike ride
- Take a hot yoga class
- Declutter my entire house ( including my electronics & organizing photos on computer)
- Take a pottery class
- Writing getaway in the mountains
- Cruise to the Bahamas
- Lead a Women’s Bible study
- Become a morning person ( or at least create a morning routine)
- Send cards to my friends
- Take a salsa dancing class
- Complete Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Course
- Drive a mint-colored scooter
- Try indoor rock climbing
- Go whale watching
I am a goal setter and list maker by nature and am always setting goals for work, health, etc. – but I wanted to create this 30 Before 30 list to push me out of my comfort zone & remind me to make time for adventures and experiences. I’ll do a recap of each one here on the blog along the way.
What are some things you have always wanted to try?No matter your age – a “bucket list” is fun and keeps you trying new things! If you decide to create your own,use #OMTbucketlist and we will follow along!
Thanks for stopping by!
Lindsey
